We celebrate life change. Baptism is the public step of obedience that declares a person belongs to Jesus. It does not save us, but it beautifully shows that we have been united with Christ and raised to walk in new life.
"Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
Romans 6:3-4
Does Baptism Save Me?
No. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward faith and a public way to say, “I belong to Jesus.”
